Had fun today

Well, today David and I took his mom to Cincinnati so we could do some shopping. We went to Bass Pro World and looked at their camping stuff for our trip to Gatlinburg in August; that store is always fun to go and look around in. Then we went to the mall and walked around, I'm so happy because Shayna was really good today; for the past three days she has been really cranky because she wouldn't take a nap, but when you put her in the car, she's out like a light, so all that driving around did some good and she took a couple naps today. We also made a trip to Babies R Us and I swear that store is like my favorite place- I could spend hours in there.

David and I are also trying for another baby now; we want them close in age and we only want two. I know we probably didn't conceive on our first cycle of trying, in fact I took a pregnancy test and it was negative but it also could have been too early since I tested 3 days before Aunt Flo is due, so we'll just have to wait and see, like I said, I highly doubt it so we'll have to keep trying.

Here lately, I've became addicted to the Soapnet channel and I'm watching a lot more of them, I guess I'm turning into that typical SAHM, lol. I used to only watch Passions and I swear it's my guilty pleasure- the show is so cheesy and dramatic, but it just sucks you in. All the other ones I'm having a hard time following the storylines and figuring out what's going on, but General Hospital seems relatively easy to follow and I really like it, speaking of which, it's getting ready to come on so I'll write more in a few days or so.

Well I'm getting really excited about our trip to Gatlinburg at the end of August. We are taking David's mom with us because she's never been there, or anywhere big for that matter. We were going to get a cabin, but they are just too expensive and we really wouldn't of had any money left over to do anything with so we decided to take our camper down there and stay at the same campground that we stayed at last year when we got married. We are also going to go to Cherokee, NC again to go to the indian reservation, which is awesome because I got some great pics of that area last year.

On to this morning, I really hate deer. David totalled our malibu that we did have less than 2 months ago when he hit a deer,

so we got a trailblazer. Well, this morning he hit another deer coming home from work, I swear I hate those animals anymore. They are so out of control here it's ridiculous. So now we have to wait for that car to be fixed and it's untelling how long it will take. Well, I'm off to get Shayna, she's screaming her head off.

Shayna's first night in her own room

Well, I decided that tonight is the night to move Shayna out of our room and into her own room in her crib. For the past 3 nights, she has been waking up crying and squirming around her bassinet, and she just looked so uncomfortable so I went ahead and made the transistion; she's just about to exceed the weight limit on the bassinet anyway, and I'm not used to her waking up like that. She's been sleeping 12-14 hrs a night since she was like 7 weeks old and I'm trying to get her back on track. Knock on wood, she has been doing well so far, but she's only been asleep for about 30 minutes now. I also dressed up in her foo-foo dress today and she was so adorable. I know she'll probably never actually wear that dress anywhere because it just isn't practical, but I still had to get some pics of her in it.
