Summer coming to an end

As it does every year, the unbearable humidity and heat starts dissipating followed by the pools closing and then being able to open the windows and give the a/c a break, yeah, it's going itno the fall season which is my favorite time of year.

Not only is my birthday in the last part of October, but that is also when we got married and Halloween time. I just love the smell of the crisp autumn air with the dry colorful leaves framing the yards in a portrait-like way.

I'm am looking forward to Halloween so much this year since Shayna is older and will probably enjoy it more so than last year. I have no idea what she is going to be this year, but I do know that I want it be something ever so girly.

Aside from all my rambling on the fall season and leaves, blah, blah, blah, we decided to re-list our house with a different realtor since our old one wasn't doing the job. Not only that, but we have decided to move to Tennessee instead of Texas. There were many factors that contributed to this decision, but it basically boils down to money and HOA fees.

Well, I'm off to do some laundry and clean up the house some.... there will be some pics to follow later.

It's been way too long.

This post will probably be long and full of pictures since it has been so long since I have given an update.

First off, Shayna is doing great and growing way too fast. She has 8 teeth now, 4 on top, and 4 on the bottom, including 2 molars. She was 23 lbs and 32 1/2 inches at her last appointment in July. She also is finished with all of her vaccinations until kindergarten. Here's the little turkey now.

Aside from my little tater tot growing up before my very eyes, things have been busy around here. We bought a new camper and a new Dodge truck, we have been camping twice, and the second time, which was about 3 weeks ago, I got a severe ear infection (first one in my almost 26 years of life) and that hurt worse than labor, let me tell you. Plus it started trying to make a reappearance yesterday , and I'm just hoping I have enough ear drops left to clear it up and not have to go back to the doctor.

Hmm, what else? Our house has been on the market for about 115 days, and we're getting antsy to move to Texas before another winter here.

Other than that, I think I've pretty much brought you up to speed on things here. Sorry, it was so boring, lol.
