Shameless Picture Post
Since I just started writing in here again after well over a year, there are TONS of pics that have not yet made it to this blog. The following are when Shayna was 19-21 months old, which would have been late September-December. There are also Christmas pics from 2008 in this bunch (told you I was way behind). So grab a snack and a drink because you might be here a while.
Check out this old school high chair. Every child that has been born into the family for the past 27 years has used this thing, starting with yours truly.

A Random Thursday Rambling
I am truly blessed. Blessed to have a wonderful man who takes care of his family and treats me like a queen, and let's face it, you can't just pick one of those up on every corner. We know what lurks on those corners. He doesn't go out to bars and come home drunk, nor does he beat the hell out of me or put me down like some men in my past. Hell, he hasn't even had so much as one beer in over a year.
I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, and while I wish I could have met him sooner to save myself a lot of heartache, I now realize it was all in God's plan for things to work out the way they did. Had I actually met him any sooner, I would still have been heartbroken because I would have actually found a good man, but he would have been married to his ex-wife. So, thank you God because there would have been nothing worse than actually meeting a good man and not being able to be with him. So, let's reminisce on the good ole dating days. This is us almost exactly 4 years ago, sickeningly in love, and we're still just as mushy now. Note the fantastic boxed blond hair, lol.
