Wow, I have been so busy lately that I hardly have the time to keep up with everything. Last weekend we went to a huge rummage sale and I scored big time on baby clothes for Shayna that she can wear this coming winter. I also got a classic Winnie the Pooh crib set complete with a sheet, dust ruffle, comforter, bumper pad, headboard, diaper stacker and quilt for only $10.00! This set retails for over a $100.00 and to make it even better, I get the set home and am looking it over and it has never even been used. I got a ton of clothes and the bedding set all for $25.00 Shayna also had her 4 month appointment and shots. She is now 14 lbs 13 oz and 26 1/2 inches long. the shots were awful and she was not herself for a couple days, but she is back to normal now. I have also started my own group for mothers against abortion and I have been pretty wrapped up with that because it's one of the few things that I'm truly passionate about. It seems like there just aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish everything that needs to be done anymore. I have laundry that still needs to be folded, there are a few friends that I really need to call but just never find the time, and I need to figure out what bills are due and how much money we have, etc, etc, etc. Another thing I recently discovered is Baby Einstein dvds- Shayna loves them at it allows me to do some things throughout the day when she is awake. Our vacation to Gatlinburg is also coming up and it's driving me batty waiting for it, lol. Well, that's pretty much it fo now. I need to go fold that laundry.

Shayna is 4 months old today!!
Well, my baby girl is 4 months old today. Sometimes I wish I could slow the time down because she is getting so big and it's kind of sad. It seems like I was just at the hospital giving birth yesterday. She now weighs 14 lbs 6 oz and is 25 1/4 inches long.
Today, David's mom finally got out of the hospital- they found out it was an inner ear infection so we brought her home and when I cooked dinner, I took her some as well so she wouldn't be up trying to cook for herself. I have finally managed to get some housework done today but we have to go to Walmart tomorrow and get a new vaccuum because ours doesn't work anymore. I got the kitchen and the living room done and tomorrow I need to do the laundry. I'm so tired but I always wind up staying up after Shayna goes to bed so I can do stuff then. Well, there's really not a whole lot more to write about, so I think I am going to try to go to bed, we have a busy day tomorrow.

nap time
David's mom is still in the hospital and they aren't going to be releasing her until they find out exactly what's wrong. She is going to be having a catscan in the next few days so hopefully she won't be in there too long. We will probably go see her again today.
Shayna is doing really well and she's growing up so fast. She slept until 8:30 this morning and is now taking a nap. Sometimes I look at her and still can't believe that I'm a mommy, she is so perfect and beautiful, she has started laughing and I swear I get teary eyed every time I hear her.
Well, the insurance people finally called us yesterday about the trailblazer and they sent a wrecker out to pick it up, it's getting a new hood and the entire grill has to be replaced, along with some other things under the hood. The dealership is probably going to be giving us a loaner car until ours is fixed which will be so great since that means we won't have to keep using mom's car.

Boring day
Well my day was started by a paramedic banging on my door at 6:45. My MIL had pressed her life alert button because she was dizzy and throwing up, so he was asking for David to go over there (we live next door). They wound up taking her to the hospital just to be on the safe side. David went to the hospital and I stayed home because I know they wouldn't let me in there with a 4 month old baby, and I really didn't want to be stuck in the waiting room. they ran some blood work on her and the electrolytes in her heart are low so they are keeping her overnight for observation. Her doctor just recently took her off of her heart medicine because she was doing really well, but this may be a side effect of it; we'll know more tomorrow after the doctor sees her.
