Seriously, what else will get thrown at us.

Right about now, I am confused, upset, and my faith is being tested greatly. To add to the stress of barely making ends meet and never getting out of this hole, David calls me at 6:30 this morning to inform me that he wrecked the car, and it is pretty much destroyed. He is fine, our car on the other hand, is a lost cause.

I am numb, and don't see this string of bad luck ever ending. I am drained, exhausted, and stressed the hell out. Bills can't get paid, people are calling for their money, and now we are down to one vehicle. Our Christmas budget has went from $300 to $150 and now $0 on each other. We have never once had a Christmas where we didn't have one thing to give to each other.

I know that's not what it's about, but it still hurts. We always get each other practical gifts so we don't spend money on frivolous things. We need so much stuff right now, and that just isn't going to happen.

I try greatly to be a practicing Christian in the good times and the bad times, and not to just call on God when things are bad. I read my Bible all the time, pray, and go to church, but none of that seems to matter right now. I really don't know how much more I can take.

Hi, I really don't know what to say. You are going through a really hard time right now, and we have been there, I promise. God hasn't given up on your family, and never will! So don't give up on Him! You have to take it one day at a time and one bill at a time. Only do the really important things first, and spend wisely.

What has really helped us get out of our financial funk is tithes! At first we thought there is no way that we can afford to give tithes, but soon realized we were getting even further behind. As soon as we started tithing we started to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

It takes faith, lots of faith! AND If you are already tithing, then maybe it's just a test from God. Don't loose faith! And as for getting each other a gift...spend some time together on CHristmas day and start it off by reading Matthew 6:25-34 and Luke 2. The most important gift you can give your husband is respect and your undivided attention for a couple of hours!

I pray that this encourages you and doesn't make things harder for you. I also pray that things start looking up for you!
